This privacy policy explains what personal data VšĮ „Apglėbk pasaulį“ collects, why it is used, and what rights data subjects have. It is written in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect

  • When registering for an event: name, email address, the chosen event and the time of registration.
  • When creating an account: username, email address and a cryptographic hash of your password.
  • When contacting us: your contact details and the content of your message.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and cookie data.

Purposes and legal basis

  • Running events and administering participant registrations – performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Administering accounts and enabling sign-in – performance of a contract.
  • Reporting on Erasmus+ projects to funding bodies – legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Newsletters and updates about our activities – consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Website security and operation – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Retention periods

Registration data is kept until the event ends and for a further 12 months. Erasmus+ project documents are kept for as long as the programme rules require. Account data is kept while the account is active; once it is deleted, the data is removed within 30 days.

Recipients of data

Data is never sold and is not passed to third parties for marketing. It may be disclosed to our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and to the institutions administering the Erasmus+ programme where a project requires it.

Your rights

  • Access your data and obtain a copy of it.
  • Ask for inaccurate data to be corrected.
  • Ask for data to be erased, or for processing to be restricted.
  • Object to processing and withdraw any consent you have given.
  • Port your data to another controller.
